Passport Health of New York City & Long Island is now offering COVID-19 antibody testing to anyone who might have contracted the virus. Our serology test relies on a blood draw that is then analyzed to determine the presence or lack thereof of immunoglobulin G (IgG), a protein that attaches to the virus in order to protect the body.
Passport Health relies on a test from Abbott Laboratories, which published research has shown to be highly effective, to determine whether or not antibodies exist in the blood sample.
