Your immigration physical covers medical history, lab work, and any required vaccinations — including MMR, Tdap, polio, and others available onsite. The civil surgeon will then perform the physical exam and I-693 certification. Your sealed I-693 envelope is typically ready within 10 to 14 days of your first visit.
Passport Health recommends doing the following for your appointment:
- Complete your medical history forms online.
- Bring any vaccination records with you to the appointment.
- Be sure to have photo identification such as a passport or driver’s license with you for your visit.
Most patients with no medical complications receive their completed, sealed Form I-693 within 10 to 14 days of their first appointment. Lab results — including TB blood testing — are typically returned within 48 hours.
