Do I Need a Visa for Sierra Leone?
A visa is required if you plan to travel to Sierra Leone for tourism and business. A passport with 6 months validity is also required with a blank page for an entry stamp. When you arrive at the airport, you must present your international certificate of vaccination (yellow card) as well as proof of yellow fever vaccination.

What Do I Need for a Sierra Leone Visa Application?
You will need your passport, passport photo, visa application form, proof of travel, letter of invitation, and business letter in order to obtain your visa.

In addition to a completed application form, the following items are required:
Passport:
- With 6 months validity
- Must be original and signed
- With a blank page for entry stamp
Photographs:
- 2×2 inches
- Must be in color with front view and a plain background
Proof of Travel:
- Requires a copy of your flight itinerary
- A copy of your airline ticket showing entry and exit from Sierra Leone
Business travelers must submit the following with their Sierra Leone visa application.
Passport:

Business Letter:
- Has to be from employer or company on their letterhead
- Includes presentation of the applicant, their status/employment, and why you plan to visit Sierra Leone
- Shows financial responsibility for the applicant as well as contact info in Sierra Leone
Transit and Missionary are other visas people may apply for in order to travel to Sierra Leone. You will need a Transit visa in order to get through immigration as well as a Missionary visa if you plan to educate the people of Sierra Leone.
Other visas also include Visitor, Work, Corporate, Study, Life Partner, Spouse, Retirement, Exchange, Treaty, Relative, Medical Treatment, Volunteer, and Crew visas.

How Much Do Sierra Leone Visas Cost?

Are Any Vaccines Required for Sierra Leone?
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for all travelers to Sierra Leone. No other immunizations are required at this time. But, some vaccines are recommended.
Hepatitis A, typhoid and rabies vaccinations may be recommended based on your itinerary. Routine vaccinations may be recommended based on your itinerary and immunization history.
