Do I Need a Visa for Jordan?
A visa is required for travel to Jordan. U.S. citizens can get their single-entry visa when they arrive at the Queen Alia International Airport. If you need a multiple-entry visa, you will have to visit your nearest embassy and consulate and obtain your visa before travel to Jordan. A valid passport is also required to enter the country.

What Do I Need for a Jordan Visa Application?
There are some documents you will need to get your visa. A passport, passport photo, visa form, and business letter are required documents for a tourist or business visa.

Travelers to Jordan must submit a completed application along with the following to obtain a visa:
Passport:
- 6 months validity
- 1 blank visa page
- Must not be damaged or changed
Photograph:
- Two colored photos taken in 3 months on quality paper
- Has to be taken against white background
- 2×2 inches
- Face must be facing front with neutral expression
- Not headwear or eyeglasses are allowed accept for religious purposes
Visa Application:
- Must be completed
- Has to be correct in all fields
Travelers visiting for business must have a visa. The following items must be submitted along with a completed application.

U.S. citizens planning to get their education in Jordan will need a Student visa. A Flight Crew visa is required for people planning to work for an airline in Jordan. A Diplomatic/Official visa and a Transit visa may be required for certain circumstances.

How Much Do Jordan Visas Cost?
The cost of a visa may differ depending on where you plan to obtain your visa, what type of visa you plan to get, whether you plan to apply for single, double, or multiple entry and the additional fees that may be tacked on. Costs can range from $20 to over $250.
Are Any Vaccines Required for Jordan?
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required if you are arriving from a region with the disease. Polio may also be required if arriving from a region with active transmission. Travel vaccinations like typhoid, rabies and hepatitis A are recommended for most travelers.
