In 1994, Fran Lessans identified a gap in the resources available to most international travelers related to travel vaccines and other health-related information. She founded Passport Health, and over 20 years, the company has spread out across the country and has become a leading provider of vaccines nationwide. Austin, Texas got a franchise in 2001, and we now have five locations in the Austin area under the medical direction of Dr. Sidney Robin, MD, and opened our first office in San Antonio in 2008. The franchise is now a leading provider of travel vaccines and on-site vaccination clinics throughout central and south Texas, with locations in north, west and downtown San Antonio.
But don’t let all that growth fool you. We are still the same small business-minded company that sees a need in our community and wants to offer personal attention and individual care to those who need it. We now offer more than just travel vaccines, and are able to help with adult-recommended vaccines as well. Whether you’re going on a mission trip to Africa and need several vaccines or you’re an incoming college freshman and just need to meet your meningitis vaccine requirement, Passport Health can offer professional, personal treatment specifically for you. Give us a call today and set up an appointment with one of our San Antonio-area travel health specialists:
