The government may restrict travel in certain areas of Vietnam. This is especially true near the Chinese, Cambodian, and Laotian boarders. Travelers should avoid these restricted areas as there are usually no warnings or postings on them being closed. Executing common sense and caution is essential to keeping yourself out of harm’s way.
