Do I Need a Visa for Tanzania?
A visa is required if you plan to travel to Tanzania. You will also need a passport with 6 months validity to enter the country.

What Do I Need for a Tanzania Visa Application?
You will need your passport, passport photo, visa application form and proof of travel if you plan to get your tourist visa. A business visa requires the same documents accept you will need to include a letter of invitation and a business letter.

Tourist travelers must submit the following with their Tanzania visa application.
Passport:
- Has to be original and signed
- 6 months validity with two blank pages for stamp
Photographs:
- Required to have two identical passport photos
- 2×2 inches colored photo with a blank background
Proof of Travel:
- Requires flight itinerary
- Copy of airline ticket displaying entry and exit from Tanzania
In addition to a completed application form, the following items are required:

- Must show sponsor’s relationship to applicant and reason for going to Tanzania
- Includes how long you plan to stay, where you plan to live and contact info
Business Letter:
- Has to be from employer or company on their letterhead
- Includes presentation of the applicant, their status/employment, why you plan to visit Tanzania and requesting your visa
- Shows financial responsibility for the applicant as well as contact info in Tanzania

How Much Do Tanzania Visas Cost?
Visa prices can vary based on the type of travel and length of stay. Tourist visas generally start around $100, business visas start around $200. Visa costs do not include service, consular or other related fees nor postage.
Are Any Vaccines Required for Tanzania?
Proof of yellow fever vaccination may be required if arriving from a country where the virus is present. No other immunizations are required.
But, some vaccines are recommended including: yellow fever, typhoid and hepatitis A.
