1. What is a Passport?
Every country issues passports to its citizens, and this document serves as the ultimate proof of citizenship. US passports are issued by the Department of State, and they are required to exit and re-enter the US and to enter all other countries in the world.
2. Do I need a US passport?
If you are a US citizen who is traveling internationally, you need a valid US passport to exit and re-enter the US and enter all other countries in the world. You passport will be your primary form of identification overseas, and it is your responsibility to carry this document overseas.
3. Do my children need their own passports?
Yes. All US citizens, even infants, who are traveling abroad must have their own US passport. As a parent, you cannot represent other members of your family, even minor children, within your passport. However, we can assist you with obtaining a child passport for each of your children.
4. For how long is my US passport valid?
If your passport was issued when you were aged 16 years or older, the document is valid for 10 years. If you received your passport as a child, meaning you were 15 years old or younger, it is valid for five years from the date of issuance.
5. I am applying for a passport renewal. Will my old passport be returned to me?
Yes, your passport will be returned. However, it will be clearly marked as invalid.
6. For how long after my trip must my passport be valid?
Most countries require six months of validity beyond the completion of a trip. If your passport expires sooner than that, you should apply for it to be renewed. Note that passport validity requirements do vary by country, so it is always best to check the specific requirements well before your trip.
7. What is a blank passport page?
Most travel visas are stamped directly into your passport, and they are affixed to a blank passport page. These pages must be clean and not have any stains or ink marks.
8. How many blank pages do I need to enter a foreign country?
Your passport must have enough blank visa pages to accommodate an entry and exit stamp. At least one blank page is required per visa.

Child passports are issued to all citizens under the age of 16.

We can process your passport in as little as one day, although a rush surcharge will apply in this case. We offer a variety of passport processing time frames to best meet your needs.
