Central & East Virginia Travel Clinic Team Members Director of Nursing Resources: Vicki Sowards, RN. Travel Medicine Specialists Crystal Sams, RN Crystal is a Michigan native who has relocated to Northern Virginia. She is a registered nurse and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health. She has a wide array of nursing experiences to include home health, geriatric psych, long-term care and school nursing. Crystal enjoys spending time with her family and volunteers with a local Girl Scout troop. She loves to garden and a great cup of coffee. Kimberly Nielsen, RN, BSN Kim received her BSN from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to joining the Passport Health team, Kim worked as an ICU nurse and CPR instructor for 25 years. In her spare time Kim enjoys reading, cooking, and taking care of her dog Fluffy. Kim has a passion for anything old and historical, particularly as it relates to Tudor, England. She hopes to learn she is a long lost ‘blue blood’ but in lieu of that she is content to travel to cultures older than ours! Linda Agnew, RN I graduated from Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center School of Nursing Philadelphia PA and have worked 35 years in hospitals/critical care. In my free time I enjoy gardening, reading mysteries, live theater and spending time with my 4 grandchildren….lots of babysitting! Nancy Walker, RN, BSN Nancy Walker was born and raised here in Virginia Beach. She graduated with a BSN from University of Virginia and practiced nursing many years in Northern Virginia before returning back to her hometown. Her focus started with pediatrics and grew to include home care and public health with a special emphasis on disease prevention and immunization. Nancy loves to travel and has been to over 20 countries. Other interests include ringing hand bells, gardening, exercising, and reading. She is active in several book clubs and on the board of the local library. Yvonne Marquin, RN Yvonne is originally from New Jersey where she went to Helene Fuld School of Nursing in 1996. Her past work experiences are Neuro Rehabilitation in Philadelphia, PA on a Brain Injury Unit, homecare, hospice case manager and a Clinical Manager for a large home care company. She enjoys volunteering her time at the local humane society and veterinary office helping abandoned, abused, neglected animals in need. Her passion in life is animals.
