Nanci Baldwin, RN

Nanci graduated from the University of Albuquerque. She has 25 years of experience in various Emergency Departments in New Mexico. Nanci has enjoyed her transition from a fast paced emergency department to administering immunizations.
Laurie Sandman, RN, BSN, MPH
Travel Nurse Specialist, Santa Fe Office
Laurie recieved her nursing degree from New York University and her Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University. She has 22 years of experience in infectious disease research including ten in vaccine research. Since moving to New Mexico she has worked at the State Tuberculosis Program and now enjoys her work immunizing and teaching the travelers at Passport Health New Mexico.
Irene Agostini, MD, FACEP
Medical Director
Dr. Agostini received her MD from the University of Nebraska in 1988. She completed an intership with the University of New Mexico in Orthopedic Surgery the following year. Her residency was completed with the University of New Mexico’s Emergency Department. Dr Agostini is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Agostini’s interest in travel medicine developed from her extensive world wide travels.While at home Dr. Agostini competes in mini triathlons and enjoys a variety of outdoor sports such as hiking and river rafting. She says she stays active to keep up with her four teenage boys.
Kathy Maddox, RN, BSN
Travel Nurse Specialist
Kathy comes to Passport Health from Scottsdale, Arizona where she was the Corporate Head Nurse for an immunization Company. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona and has worked in a variety of settings ranging from the NICU to teaching Pediatrics to LPN’s as adjunct faculty for a community college. She brings 38 years of nursing experience to the Passport Health team. She and her husband love to ”cruise” and have had some unusual travel experiences that help her to counsel, educate and inform our clients concerning their travels and immunizations. Passport Health gives her the opportunity to combine her love of travel with her passion for nursing.
Lisa Vernon, RN
Travel Nurse Specialist
Lisa spent her early years traveling to Europe with her military family. She moved to New Mexico at the age of ten. Lisa earned her nursing degree at community college in Las Vegas NM. Lisa interests include wilderness medicine and she has previous certification in Wilderness First Responder, previous member of San Miguel Search and Rescue where she trained students at United World College search and rescue procedures. Lisa is happy to be with Passport Health and use her knowledge of self care in difficult environments and provide clients with information to have safe and happy journeys.
