Karen Kluge, MS ARNP 
Executive Director/Owner

Karen has been a registered nurse for 28 years and earned her BSN, from University of Maryland at Baltimore, and her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Florida Atlantic University.

Karen has been with Passport Health for 15 years, starting in Baltimore and then moving to Florida to open a Passport Health in both Palm Beach and Broward Counties in 1999. She has watched the increasing need for international travel education and vaccination to promote health and wellness during travels. She has provided her services to the Center for Disease Control, Federal Government, and our Military for vaccination and various bio-terrorism response teams.

Karen Kluge-Boca Raton

Karen has one daughter and lives in Boynton Beach with her husband and 3 schnauzers. Karen is active with the FNA, ANA, FNP Network, and ISTM. She enjoys medical mission work with her daughter through Spanish River Church. The Lord is present in her daily life and the work place at Passport Health.

 
 

Joan Kluge

Joan Kluge
CFO

Joan Kluge is the CFO at Passport Health. She has been working at Passport Health since 2000 and handles all the financials.

Joan is originally from Baltimore, Maryland but has been living in South Florida for the past 22 years. She has a son and three grandsons in Maryland as well as a daughter, granddaughter, and four grand-doggies in Florida. She enjoys traveling, swimming, gourmet cooking and walking on the beach.

 
 

Melissa Bloom, RN
Travel Medicine Specialist

Melissa Bloom been a Registered Nurse for 17 years and earned her RN at Palm Beach Community College in Florida in 1993.  She joined Passport Health in 2006. Prior to joining the Passport Health team, she worked in a pediatric setting for 14 years providing care and education to families on illness, immunizations, behavioral, growth and development of the pediatric patient. She is a strong advocate for preventive care and wellness education.  She has spent all her years as a nurse providing individualized and compassionate care in prevention of illness and disease.

Melissa-Boca Raton

Melissa is a Florida native and has grown up in Jupiter, Florida.  She now resides in Stuart, Florida with her husband and two children, Tanner age 13 and Jensen age 10.  Interests and hobbies include any activities that have to do with the beach or boat, softball, and spending time with her family.

 
 

Laurie-Boca Raton

Laurie Greenblatt, RN
Travel Medicine Specialist

Laurie Greenblatt received her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 1978. She returned to New York as a Visiting Nurse with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. As a Nursing Supervisor for the Visiting Nurse Association of Long Island, Laurie was responsible for providing home health care for clients and their families. In addition, she researched, developed and implemented nursing education in-service programs.

In 2006 Laurie joined the Palm Beach State College faculty as Director of the Nursing Skills Lab. She transformed the once under utilized lab into a vital, integral component of the students nursing education. She developed the skills lab into an area with a consistent teaching approach via training and mentoring students and faculty.

Laurie joined Passport Health in 2011 and continues to empower and educate her clients to promote their health and wellness with special focus on international travel.

Laurie’s pride and joy are her children Steven and Jaycee, her daughter-in law Lindsay and her husband Roy.

 
 

Kim Lovito, RN 
Travel Medicine Specialist

Kim joined the Passport Health team in 2011. She brings a vast array of knowledge and experience, gained over a 20 year career in health care. In 1994 Kim secured her degree in Nursing from Broward College, then went on to manage the school’s Microbiology Laboratory. Kim has practiced nursing in a variety of settings including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, and Psychiatric/Addiction. When the opportunity to participate in Passport Health came along, she enthusiastically jumped onboard. Kim welcomes being in an environment where her focus is to prevent clients from becoming patients. She is a strong advocate of wellness and prevention through vaccination and practical healthcare practices. Kim is also a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Bailey-Boca Raton

Bailey McAllister
Administrative Assistant

Bailey McAllister has been working part time at Passport Health since 2002 and full time since 2006. She is a recent graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Art in Art History and Studio Art.

Originally from Maryland, Bailey now resides in Delray Beach with her dog, Sasha and bunny, Bunnicula. Bailey loves to travel and has been lucky enough to travel to Mexico, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and Peru.

 
 

Tami Garber
Receptionist

Tami Garber is our receptionist and joined Passport Health in 2010. She enjoys meeting the clients who come into the office and loves hearing about the countries they are visiting. Prior to Passport Health she worked for various companies in Florida and her native state of Ohio. She received an Associates of Arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia,Missouri and attended The Defiance College.

Tami has resided in Boynton Beach Florida since 2005. A daughter and her family reside in Boynton Beach, a son in Delray Beach, Florida and her youngest son resides in San Jose, California. She enjoys time with her grandchildren and attending their activities, swimming, reading and the beach.
