Passport Health Houston opened its doors in late June of 2001.  Since then, we have grown to 4 offices that service all of Houston and the surrounding areas.  The original team of Hector Medellin, M.D., Medical Director, Debbie Medellin, Executive Director, and Ann Cegelski, Nurse Manager has grown to a staff of eight full-time, and numerous part-time employees.  Key team members include Mitzi Rowland, Director of Business Development, Joyce Connor Office Manager and Donna Thames Administrative Assistant and IT specialist.  

The unprecedented growth experienced by Passport Health’s Houston Office has been largely due to the fact that our clients are pleasantly surprised at the level of care that they receive at Passport Health.  Each and every person is treated at an executive level by the caring and compassionate staff.  One on one counseling with country and itinerary specific information helps to set Passport Health apart from the usual service at many clinics.  A lot of Passport Health Houston’s referrals come from word of mouth and local physicians.

Passport Health Houston has been involved in Anthrax clinics through CDC contracts and also was a part of immunizing troops deploying for Iraq through the Feds Heal program.

Our reputation with our community has been achieved through hard work and an innate passion for excellence.  We work with a wide variety of clients from the corporate world to adventure travelers to those doing the very special work of missions.  Passport Health also carries out many corporate, church and school flu clinics in the fall, and works with people who are not currently traveling but need wellness vaccines for school, work and to maintain general good health.
