Kara D. Noble, RN BSN- Executive Director
Kara earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree in 1992 and joined Passport Health in the Washington DC area in 1997. During that time she has given many lectures and presentations on travel health. She has worked with the Department of Defense on Small Pox education, and managed the Anthrax vaccinations for the Centers for Disease Control for exposed workers and the decontamination team after the October 2001 attacks on the postal system. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health commended her in a letter saying “She has a tremendous amount of experience in giving vaccine.”
Kara also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the White House Medical Unit for her assistance in their preparedness training. “We highly value her expertise and real world experience in Smallpox, Anthrax, and travel vaccines”, said Jeffrey C. Kuhlman, MD, White House Physician and Assistance Director of the White house Medical Unit. “Kara has always been available for immunization questions by the physicians and nurses of the White House Medical Unit, and we recognized Passport Health as a center of excellence in the metro District of Columbia area.”
Kara holds a Certificate of Travel Health recognized by the International Society of Travel Medicine of which she is a member.
