
Michelle Reesman, R.N., C.T.H.
Executive Director/Owner Passport Health Colorado
As Executive Director of Passport Health Colorado, Michelle and the nurses she recruits, trains and manages have counseled thousands of clients traveling to all parts of the globe for business, leisure and volunteer journeys. In her role, she has grown Passport Health Colorado from one small office in 2004 to six Front Range offices currently. Her clinical expertise is called upon daily to ensure consistency and maintain the highest standards of care for Passport Health Colorado’s clients.
Prior to Passport Health, Michelle was the circulating/scrub nurse for Pain Centers of America at the West Denver Ambulatory Surgery Center in Wheat Ridge, CO. In that role, she controlled the function of two treatment rooms in the care of acute and chronic pain patients. Michelle also performed pre- and post-operative care and was in charge of pharmaceutical inventory control/distribution and was the infection control coordinator for the facility. Prior to West Denver ASC, Michelle held a similar role at Healthsouth Aurora Surgery Center in Aurora, CO, where she had comprehensive accountability for peri-operative patient care and charge nurse responsibilities in an outpatient setting.
Michelle is an active member and holds the Certificate of Travel Health from The International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM). She also is a member of The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH), The Colorado Coalition for Travel Health Professionals (CTHP), The Colorado Adult Immunization Coalition (CAIC) and The Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition (CCIC). She maintains both current ACLS certification and a license with the Colorado and Utah Boards of Nursing. She has worked in medicine for over 20 years.
Jamie Reesman
President/Owner Passport Health Colorado
With over 20 years of Marketing, Sales and Operations experience in the satellite, telephone and television industries, Jamie is responsible for the Business Operations and Marketing functions of Passport Health Colorado. After joining Michelle in the business in 2005, Jamie found Passport Health’s commitment of service to international travelers very rewarding. He considers the ability to proactively prevent disease and injury to people travelling all over the globe a worthy endeavor and a challenge he looks forward to every day. Prior to Passport Health, Jamie served as Product Marketing Manager for Level 3 Communications and Vice President of Marketing for B.O.B.: Brief Original Broadcasts, a start-up cable/satellite network. Before Level 3 and B.O.B., he was the Director of Marketing for The National Geographic Channel, the National Director of Marketing for High Speed Access Corp. and an Area Manager for Time Warner Satellite Services. Jamie began his career with Time Warner Cable as Program Director/Director of Advertising Sales and Video Production in the Western Pennsylvania Region. He holds a B.S. in Marketing and Communications from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Like Michelle, he loves the outdoors and is certified in sailing and advanced scuba diving. In addition to outdoor activities, Jamie plays the drums and is a member of The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.

The six registered nurses of Passport Health Colorado have over 125 years of combined nursing experience, including 20 years of direct experience in travel health. Prior to joining the Passport Health team, our nurses provided licensed health care in states as varied as Colorado, California, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona, and Texas. Our nurses are avid travelers: they've lived and worked in countries such as Australia, India, Canada, South Africa, Norway, Ireland, and Saudi Arabia and have traveled to dozens more. Their professional memberships include the International Society of Travel Medicine, American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, American Nurses Association, Colorado Nurses Association, and the American Travel Health Nurses Association.
