Physical exams will be primarily for pre-travel evaluations. This position is part-time, contract, and hours may be limited during the start-up phase. At least 72 hours notice will be given when an exam is needed. Job Description:
This job may be part-time, full-time, or seasonal, depending on the needs of the specific clinic.
The Registered Nurse will see patients directly and provide travel counseling, vaccinations, medications, and general travel health advice to Passport Health clients. The Registered Nurse may also be responsible for providing flu shots.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize proper travel medicine and general medicine processes to provide immunizations and travel health counseling in a safe and effective manner.
Adhere to safety protocols.
Provide friendly, efficient, and safe service to patients and clients.
Qualifications/Requirements for this position:
Registered Nurse certification with current license in good standing in the state in which work is desired.
Superior interpersonal skills.
Hospital clinical experience.
Flexible schedule.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Ability to complete assigned tasks without detailed supervision.
