Travel Medicine Specialist

Karin Church obtained her nursing degree from Anne Arundel Community college in 1991. She worked previously in oncology, neurology and hematology at a local hospital as well as physician offices and hospice home health care. Church enjoys meeting new people and hearing about their world travel experience. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.




 

  HELEN HODGKINS, R.N., COHN-S

Travel Medicine Specialist

Helen Hodgkins graduated from Concord Hospital School of Nursing and later became Board Certified in Occupational Health. She started her career in the operating room and emergency room. After a hiatus to start a family she started a new career with the Department of Defense. Her positions there included Independent Duty and Team Leader for Clinical Services. In 1998 she was assigned to a position in England as a Nurse Manager and later to Germany as Executive Officer of the Health Clinic. Hodgkins’ knowledge and experience are a great asset to the Passport Health team!




GAIL GRAY, R.N.

Travel Medicine Specialist

Gail Gray comes to Passport Health with over twenty-five years of varied nursing experience. She graduated from Lankenua Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia. She has worked in labor and delivery, postpartum, medical/surgical and pediatric departments. Prior to joining the Passport Health team she spent seven years as a school nurse. Gray enjoys meeting and assisting travelers with their health needs.




 

  CAROL KNIGHT, R.N., B.S.N.

Travel Medicine Specialist

Carol Knight comes to Passport Health Northern MD with 29 years of community health nursing in working with pediatric, prenatal, and adult clients in clinics and the homecare setting. In addition she has many years of medical, surgical and emergency room nursing experience. She obtained her Registered Nurse diploma from Sacred Heart Hospital in Pennsylvania and her BSN from the University of Maryland- Baltimore City (UMBC). Knight enjoys dancing, exercising, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.




KELLY GOLD, R.N.

Travel Medicine Specialist

Kelly Gold graduated from Towson State University with a degree in Biology, and then completed her nursing degree at Essex Community College. She has 10 years of experience in the perioperative setting at GBMC's Women's Surgical Center, where she still enjoys taking care of patients in the operating room. Gold enjoys preparing clients for their trips, and especially hearing about their successful travels afterwords. Her husband and son keep her happily busy.




 

  ALICE "GENIA" LOVING-CLASH, R.N., B.S.N.

Travel Medicine Specialist

Genia Loving-Clash comes to Passport Health with 26 years of a variety of nursing experience. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center. She was a nurse educator with the Sickle Cell Association of Central Maryland. She continues to teach part time at the Baltimore City Community College for the Certified Nursing Assistant program. At the community level she was part of her church’s Nursing Ministry that provides emergency care during services to the over 8000 congregants. Loving-Clash obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland. When not volunteering her nursing services for other community organizations and events, she is the co-owner of a certified, event planning company called Starlight, Inc.
